About
Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where a few friends kept arguing about which mobile game was worth the storage space. Eventually we got tired of losing track of good recommendations and turned it into a proper site. Everything you read here comes from people who actually finished (or rage-quit) the games in question.
We don't run a review factory. Each game gets played across several sessions, on more than one device when we can manage it, so we can talk about battery drain, small screens, and how the controls feel after an hour instead of five minutes. If a game only looks good in the first ten minutes, we'll say so.
Games get picked for a few reasons: something is getting talked about, a reader tips us off, or one of us simply can't stop playing and wants to explain why. We cover every genre — puzzles, strategy, racing, RPGs, the lot — because a good phone library needs variety.
We're a small team and we like it that way. It means the voice stays personal and the opinions stay ours.
